About Us

WCMS is an incorporated society dedicated to promoting quality Chamber Music in Wellington by:

· Presenting an annual series of professional Chamber Music concerts at a modest price

· Supporting New Zealand musicians and composers of Chamber Music

· Providing, with the support of concert FM, opportunity for recording and broadcast of many concerts

· Assisting Chamber Music NZ with the Schools Music Contest in the Wellington region

· Assisting Chamber Music NZ with Celebrity Concerts in Wellington

WCMS is approved for charitable exemption which means that donations made to it qualify for a tax rebate, up to the maximum allowed by Inland Revenue.
